Patience: Biblical Definition and 5 Key Verses

1. ὑπομονή (hypomonē) - Perseverance, Endurance: Composition: ὑπό (hypo): under, μένω (menō): to remain, Literally: "to remain under".

Application: God's power strengthens us, For all patience and longsuffering, With joy, not complaining, Give thanks to the Father.

Verse 5: Hebrews 10:36

"For you have need of patience, that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise."

Application: Patience is NECESSARY, Not optional but indispensable, Identify the promise you wait for, Commit to doing God's will, Prepare for the long term, Keep your eyes on the reward.
