La oración es la expresión concreta de la relación viva entre los hijos de Dios y el Padre celestial. No es meramente presentar necesidades, sino adoración, confesión, acción de gracias e intercesión. Las Escrituras enseñan que podemos acercarnos con confianza al trono de la gracia, porque el gran sumo sacerdote Cristo ha abierto el camino para nosotros. La oración madura gradualmente cambia del egocentrismo a buscar el cumplimiento de la voluntad de Dios, echando todas las cargas a través de la oración y la súplica, y recibiendo paz que sobrepasa el entendimiento.
