Overview: Love

The love revealed in Scripture originates from God Himself. It is not merely emotion, but an active, sacrificial heart that seeks the good of others. The love God demonstrated in Christ reconciles sinners, enabling us to love God and love our neighbor as ourselves. The New Testament emphasizes that love is the fulfillment of the law and the core of all spiritual gifts and service. Without love, even the highest gifts and knowledge are meaningless.
